Expression of Interest:Adb is committed to support sustaining the health financing of maldives through rationalizing public hospital spending and the expenditure of aasandha. adb agreed with ministry of health (moh) and ministry of finance and planning (mofp) to conduct a unit costing analysis of tertiary care services and treatments provided at indira gandhi memorial hospital (igmh).
The assignment contains following 4 components to be jointly carried out by a team of 3 international resource persons and 1 national resource person. the consultant will lead the unit costing analysis and cost comparison parts of the assignment and co-lead the analysis on quality-of-care improvement and wastage reduction measures as well as the development of policy recommendations on improving the fiscal sustainability aasandha through rationalizing the expenditure of local private hospitals and empaneled foreign hospitals with other lead experts.
